Washington, D.C. – July 29, 2024 – Bennington High School has been ranked No. 23 in the state of Oklahoma among the 2024 Best High Schools by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings evaluate nearly 18,000 schools at the national, state and local level. The school was also ranked No. 1 in the Durant, OK area. “I am very proud of our students and staff for their hard work and dedication,” said Bennington High School Principal, Darren Harber. He added, “Our staff does a wonderful job of taking care of our students and preparing them for life, and our students make Bennington an enjoyable place for other students to attend and an incredible place for teachers to teach. I am so proud for our school to receive this recognition and for others to be aware of our outstanding school system.”
